Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas

He obtained his MA Economics Degree in 1975 and MA Punjabi Degree in 1977 from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has also attended International Conferences held in the USA in 1985 as Head of Delegation, in 1991 in Turkey as Member of Youth Delegation, and in Norway in 1996 as Head of Delegation. He has also visited countries like the UK, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Saudia Arabia, Japan, Thailand, and Iran with different delegations which is a reflection of his intellectual humility, mindset, and learning. Being an educationist, businessman, and member of different social welfare organizations, he is also the founder and Chief Executive of The Punjab School, Lahore, Senior Vice President and Founder of Al-khidmat Foundation Pakistan, and Member Executive Committee, Fountain House, Lahore. He has also served as Naib Nazim, Union Council No-127 Lahore during 2001. He was elected as a Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab in the General Elections 2002.
